 A special booklet included in the September issue of Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine revealed that Tsutomu Nihei's sci-fi action manga Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) will be heading toward its climax.The booklet also included one-shot spinoffs related to Sidonia no Kishi by various artists: Ena no Kyouei by Tatsuwo Kidou Morito Suruuchi (Mobile Gardes Suruuchi) by Hiroaki Michiaki Morito Kyouka no Zen-Katachi (All Forms of Gardes Strengthening) by Jyu Ishiguchi Nihei-sensei Gomenasai (Sorry, Nihei-sensei) by Akiko Higashimura SDK48 Keikaku (SDK48 Plan) by Koushirou Shimizu Shippo (Tail) by Yayoi Ogawa Sidonia no Kishi has been serialized in Afternoon magazine since April 2009. The manga was also the winner in the 39th Kodansha Manga Awards for the general category. The 14th volume is set to be released on September 29, 2015. Sidonia no Kishi has been published in English as Knights of Sidonia by Vertical, Inc. since February 5, 2013. The manga previously received two 12-episode TV anime adaptations and one anime film. Season 1 ends at around ch 30 I think but S2 has scenes from 20+ or so. Tl;dr just read from ch. 1 I guess. |
